| Seminar Mental Health in Fragile States On 8 and 9 september HealthNet TPO and the London School for Hygiene and Tropical Medicine are organizing a two-day seminar on 'mental health in fragile states. " This seminar is designed to 1) policymakers in NGOs, ministries and donor organizations, 2) experts involved in implementation of mental health projects in fragile states and 3) academics and scientists in 'international mental health' and 'health care reconstruction'. The aim is to foster a fruitful and practical dialogue between people from different fields such as 'mental health',' health systems development, 'health financing' and from different academic backgrounds (psychiatry, psychology, health care policy) More information. |
| Mental Health in Complex Emergencies. A course by HealthNet TPO, IMC, CICH and LSHTM. The training targets health and other professionals wishing to gain a better understanding of what it entails to adress mental health and psychosocial issues in the context of complex emergencies. | Practice Oriented Course Mental health & Psychosocial Support in Conflict. This new course is a joint initiative by three Dutch organizations: COGIS, War Trauma Foundation and HealthNet TPO.
